以強光阻撓記者採訪，恐嚇及不禮貌對待記者，涉嫌違反警察通例 (39-05) - 警務人員應盡可能協助新聞媒體工作者的採訪工作。刻意不出示委任證，這有機會違反《警察通例》(20-14)各項中，市民提出要求，至少有一名軍裝警務人員應出示委任證，才可執行職務。

影片0至35秒可見大量催淚彈波及在場記者及社工，35秒至1分05秒舉黑旗後再發射一枚催淚彈，警方持長盾推進。涉嫌違反警察通例 (39-05)，警務人員應盡可能協助新聞媒體工作者的採訪工作。亦涉嫌違反《公安條例》第17條中，表明警務人員在阻止公眾聚集舉行，或停止或解散公眾聚集時，只可以使用「合理所需的武力」。
