以強光阻撓記者採訪，催淚彈射向記者方向，在旁邊爆開。涉嫌違反警察通例 (39-05)，警務人員應盡可能協助新聞媒體工作者的採訪工作。亦涉嫌違反《公安條例》第17條中，表明警務人員在阻止公眾聚集舉行，或停止或解散公眾聚集時，只可以使用「合理所需的武力」。而過份武力對待被拘捕人士，在沒有合理辨解下，亦可能違反《侵害人身罪條例》各條。

在新界馬𩣑山，晚上一群防暴警察從警署衝出街上聲稱要驅趕示威者，期間擎槍指向附近樓宇之居民，以強光照射，亦有警員指罵市民。

示威者要求報案指懷疑大批警員冒警，但疑似總督察的指揮官指出「我話佢地係（警察）就係」。這說法涉嫌違反《警察通例》(20-14-2)中指出，便衣人員不論是否當值，在與巿民接觸和行使警察權力時，必須表明身分及出示委任證。在案發現場的便衣人員，須將委任證掛在顯眼的地方，讓人易於辨認其身分。
